The ALC400P Takes Centre Stage at BI-MU

It was great to see R.F. CELADA SpA representing Sodick at the 35th edition of BI-MU, one of Italy’s leading exhibitions for machine tools, manufacturing technology and automation.

Among the machines on display was the Sodick ALC400P, bringing high-precision wire EDM technology into the spotlight. Designed for demanding applications where accuracy and surface finish are critical, the ALC400P combines Sodick’s linear motor drives with advanced discharge control.

Its iGroove wire rotation technology presents a fresh wire surface during skim cutting, helping improve geometric accuracy and surface quality while reducing wire consumption. For manufacturers producing intricate components and precision tooling, these details make a real difference.
